Visit a Silat Pertempuran Group
Even today with so many opportunities to learn about things from around the world, there are very few pencak silat programs available to most of us.
Those of us who have been blessed to learn pencak silat have learned by traveling or bringing instructors to train with them, as was often the case with me.
Undoubtedly there are few places to learn good pencak silat in the U.S. though that number is growing as more people seek out instruction by traveling around the world to get it. None-the-less, there are probably less than 100 places to learn pencak silat in the U.S. today. Maybe it's more, but it's probably not much more. Furthermore, if you take away those that dabble in pencak silat with a mix of something else, that number is likely even smaller.
As a result, Pencak Silat Pertempuran has continually made efforts to make pencak silat available to anyone who was sincerely interested in learning. It doesn't come easy but it is available.
